Thank you Teachers!

If a doctor, lawyer, or dentist had 40 people in his office at one time, all of whom had different needs, and some of whom didn't want to be there and were causing trouble, and the doctor, lawyer, or dentist, without assistance, had to treat them all with professional excellence for nine months, then he might have some conception of the classroom teacher's job.  ~Donald D. Minco is blessed to have some of the finest educators around.  Our teachers are dedicated to student learning and work hard in the classroom to ensure student success.  It is not easy sometimes to keep the focus of several students in the classroom.  In fact in our society today, chaos seems to reign.  Sometimes this bleeds over into students' lives.  This has made the job all the more challenging in the last few years especially.

Our teachers care about our student’s emotional needs.  Today we see many more students who need that lift emotionally.  Our teachers help our students understand their self worth and value as a person.  The support our students receive from our teachers is incredible.  It is a real joy to see the growth of our students, the smiles on their faces, and the connection that our staff has with students.  What our teachers and staff do here at Minco is change lives for the better.

Our teaching staff is dedicated to our community.  They have helped in food drives, blood drives, and other things to benefit our town.  They work hard to help meet the needs of people in Minco.  I have seen them give out of their own pocket many times to help children and families in need.  Our teachers have caring hearts and step up when our people are in need.

It is a joy to work with our staff.  They are committed professionals.  This is National Teaching Appreciation Week.  We are all so thankful for the Minco staff.  To all our teachers, I say thank you for all you do!
