Welcome Back

Welcome Back To School For The 2023-2024 School Year

By Kevin Sims

Minco Public Schools Superintendent

Welcome back to the new school year.  It is always hard to believe how fast the summer break goes by, but the anticipation of a new year is always exciting. The new year will bring great success and new achievements in the classroom and in extracurricular activities.  I am looking forward to a great year here at Minco.  Our students have worked incredibly hard this summer, and hard work always pays off!

I look forward to the future building and expansion of our facilities.  In the next few weeks, we will be discussing our needs and the ways to meet those needs.  Future growth and improvement of facilities are always a priority.  We must have plans in place that will meet the needs of our students and community for decades to come.  I am excited about the possibilities that will present themselves over the next few years. Our students and community deserve the best.

This year we welcome several new employees to our district.  I hope you get the chance to meet these great people.  I look forward to working with them.  Here is a list of our new employees:

Each year brings new and exciting things.  The hustle and bustle of the first few weeks is unmatched in enthusiasm and anticipation. Seeing the students always gets the MOJO going strong.  As we get the new year started, I humbly ask you for your prayers as we anticipate a tremendous school year.  See you all on August 17th!!

Thank you,
