Good evening,
I was notified today that an employee of Minco Public Schools has tested positive for Covid-19. Due to HIPPA rules, I cannot release the name of the employee. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their family.
This employee was at our summer pride daily. The last day was June 25th which we are still in the 14 day window for contracting and showing symptoms of the virus.
Out of an abundance of caution, the health department requests that anyone who was at summer pride the week of June 22 to 25 and is showing any symptoms should be tested for the Coronavirus, and please consult your personal physician.
Our coaches made sure the wieght room and all facilities used were sanatized thoroughly each day.
As our nation continues to work through this pandemic, we will surley have mire cases, and we must all be diligent and follow safe practices and make smart informed decisions that will help keep others safe.

May I present to you the Minco Graduating Class of 2020!!
Graduation will be livestreamed at 10:30AM this morning on WWW.MINCOBULLDOGS.TV
This will be me tomorrow before I speak at graduation. I encourage you to wear masks as we have moved this ceremony into the gym. Each graduate ia allowed 15 guests. Once again masks are not required, but highly recommended.
Due to the ongoing rain, we will move graduation into the gym at 10:30AM Saturday. Each senior will be allowed 15 guests to attend. We ask all families to social distance at least 6 feet a part. We recommend masks but they are not required. Thank you, Mr. Sims
We will announce alternate plans if it is neccessary to move graduation indoors at 8:00AM Saturday. Graduation will be at 10:30 and live livestreamed on WWW.MINCOBULLDOGS.TV
This is a reminder to our seniors. Please be at the football field by 5:45 for a 6pm graduation practice TONIGHT!! The senior dinner at Sids will follow at 7:00PM
There is a program offering free food to residents on rural Oklahoma. If you interested in recieving information on this, please email Mr. Sims at ksims@minco.k12.ok.us. He will forward you to the program doing this.

We will not be delivering lunches to Cogar, and due to getting the new kitchen ready and moving, we are ending the lunch program on June 24th. Thank you!!
This is Minco senior Dalton Starkey. He left yesterday for basic training in the United States Army. He will miss his graduation this next Saturday. I am proud of this young man, and I wish him all the best. God speed young man!!
Minco High School Graduation Plan.
The first day of school will be moved to August 20th. We will provide a new school calendar on June 30th.
Mr. Sims will be doing the first of several virtual meetings on Facebook Live this Thursday at 8:30PM to discuss and take questions about re-entry in August.
